Safety Stat Update

Parents: If you have photos of school events that you would like to share for our website, please email a copy of each photo to Sandi Bigham at bighams@k12tn.net. If you would be willing to serve as a "Mr. Candid" for your child's sport or organization, I would really appreciate your help in sharing photos (and even information) that I could add to our website throughout the school year.

Traffic Announcement: Last year, both an adult and a student were hit by a car during the process of student pick-up at the end of the day. In an effort to establish a safer drop-off/pick-up for our students before someone is seriously injured, we tried a new approach. That approach generated a unique set of problems! As a result, we have a new and improved traffic flow pattern for dropping off and picking up students. We want to thank the Martin Police Department for their valuable assistance! Thanks to their efforts, we now have a system that will keep our students safe while providing a timely routine for those who pick up their children after school. We also have a new entrance to the parking lot! What was once an entrance/exit is now an exit only, and we have a new entrance (entrance only) at the north end of the parking lot. PLEASE do your part in helping keep our children safe by cooperating with this plan.

Police officers handed out the new traffic flow instructions to parents in the car line Thursday afternoon. If you did not receive one or if you need extra copies, please click on the pdf files below:
