A Message on Success

We are proud of our school, and of the care we ensure that quality teaching takes place every day. As your principal, it is an honor and a privelege for me to work hand in hand with you in providing a quality education. As Abraham Lincoln said, "Education is the most important subject which we as people can be engaged in."

Children are our future, and we need to prepare them for what lies ahead. At Martin Middle School, we provide the necessary skills needed to succeed in high school and life.

My definition of success originated from the legendary basketball coach, John R. Wooden. Coach Wooden says, "True success can be attained through self-satisfaction in knowing that you did everything within the limits of your ability to become the best you are capable of becoming." Therefore, in the final analysis only the individual himself can correctly determine his/her success. This we believe.
